We needed a rating system and should angle toward what we all enjoy the most so this is what the group has come up with so far.
1 to 5 scale PPS 10 cm fresh PPS 20 cm fresh PPS 30 cm fresh PPS 40 cm fresh PPS 50 cm fresh PPS 55+ cm fresh - Unicorn gear Modifiers (pros/cons) Blower - aspects of the product or event are excellent Daily Driver - Solid performance but has many peers its equal Weak layer - describe a shortcoming in the practical use of the product Without getting too serious or philosophical about the whole BC ski experience, not to mention that we came from backcountry Telemark roots (I know how much everyone likes to hear that some of us Tele) this site…. aims to be a forum for folks to share views, ideas, links, reviews, snow safety, and tell the odd story. I am not a blogger, but do like to talk.. occasionally. Like most of you out there I like to discuss equipment almost as much as I like backcountry skiing. I am always searching for folks ideas and opinions to help me make up my own. Technical by nature I like to explore home grown solutions to everything from boot fitting with a heat gun to creative ski rack solutions for hiding those new Volkl's from the wife. |
